Ombré Powder Brow Microshading
WHAT IS MICROSHADING?
Microshading is a gentler technique than micro blading, creating a more natural, airbrushed look that closely resembles a powdered brow. Using a hand-held tool, pixel dots of pigment are created that heal with the apperance of a powdery finish, which gives that soft, filled in makeup look.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MICROSHADING?
-
Gentle on skin with less trauma than microblading
-
Great for all skin types and ages
-
Beneficial for most existing brow patterns
-
Keeps shape and definition
-
Saves you time in your morning routine
-
Allows you to wake up feeling confident
DOES IT HURT?
A topical 5% Lidocane numbing cream is applied multiple times during the procedure however, each client is different when experiencing pain. Some clients do not experience any discomfort at all, some experience minor pain, and others more. Many clients fall asleep after the numbing process from laying still for a while. We won't know your pain level until we begin. If the pain level is high, we can apply other forms of stronger numbing and for a longer duration.
HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
Healed results typically last up to 1-3 years but is designed to fade over time. Every client is different so results depend on aftercare, the healing process, and how well the clients skin takes to the procedure. Other factors that affect longevity include age, lifestyle, skin type, metabolism, and medication. Touch ups are normal and may be needed as desired.

Oily skin: Increased oil production can cause pigment to blur and heal lighter.
Smokers: Smoking can cause pigment to fade faster
Anemia/Iron deficiency: Your body will absorb iron based pigments more quickly
Age/Metabolism: May result in faster pigment fading
Sun exposure: Increased sun exposure has harmful effects on skin and can cause faster fading. Please use SPF always.
Bleeding during procedure: Excessive bleeding during your procedure will affect your healed results. Bleeding pushes out the pigment preventing the color from being retained. This is not entirely within our control but following the before care instructions will minimize bleeding and other issues which includes avoiding blood thinning medication and not ingesting alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
