General Policies

Please kindly review our general policy information below before scheduling an appointment. By booking with Shades of Beauty Studio, you are accepting the terms and conditions of our policies.

Payment Policy

A non-refundable booking fee of $20 is required when booking for lash services.


This fee secures your appointment and will go toward the total cost of the appointment. 

All booking fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and are only transferable if scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. 

There are NO refunds for services rendered.

Cash and all major Credit Cards are accepted

Cancellation Policy

You can manage your appointments (scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling) through our website by making an account or through your confirmation email.

Full Sets require 48 hours notice in advance of cancellation. Fill-in's require 24 hours notice in advance of cancellation.

Failure to cancel in this timeframe will result in 50% of the total appointment cost to be due and will be charged to your card. 

Same day cancellations and No Shows will result in being charged 100% of the appointment.


Late/ No Show Policy

There is a 10 minute grace period. After 10 minutes, a $10 late fee will automatically be applied to the total cost of the appointment.


After 15 minutes, your appointment may be cancelled at the studio's discretion. If your appointment is cancelled, you will be required to pay a new deposit upon rescheduling.

We reserve the right to charge a no show fee to the credit card on file totaling 100% of the service to those who do not show up to an appointment.


There are NO refunds.

Sick Policy

Masks are optional at the time of service and if you are in need of one, please do not hesitate to ask ( we always keep them in supply).

If you are not feeling well and/or are exhibiting sick symptoms, please reschedule your appointment to keep the technician and other clients safe. 

Cell Phone Policy

We ask that your cell phone is tuned off or on silent during your appointment.


If you are receiving a lash session, we ask that you do not open your eyes to check devices until after your session is complete being that we using tweezers, adhesive and other items near the delicate eye area and this takes time away from your service and may irritate eyes during and/or after your session.

Lash Integrity

Lash extensions are NOT one size fits all.


For your eye and lash health, we will not provide extensions that are unhealthy for your natural lashes. Even if that differs from previous lash artists you have experienced. We want you to love your lashes and feel confident however, if you are requesting lashes that are not suitable for you and are not willing to proceed with our professional recommendations, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment.


We aim to provide you with the best set of lashes that are perfect for you and will allow you to continue to get lashes forever! (:

Before and After Care Policy

It is very important to follow the before AND after care instructions for any services received.


Shades of Beauty Studio is not responsible for failure to follow before and after care instructions and reserves the right to discontinue services if the client does not follow professionally advised care and instructions.

Lash Fill In Policy

Please make sure you book your fill-in appointments accordingly especially around holiday season, wedding season, and vacation season. 

Fill ins are meant to be maintenance on your full set. You must book a fill in within 2-3 weeks (14-24 days) to be considered a fill in appointment. Anything beyond 4 weeks will be considered a full set unless there is an agreement with the lash technician. 

If your lashes are less than 40-50% remaining, have excessive gaps or growth, it is not a fill in. Please see our FAQ page to see the difference between a fill and a fill that will be considered a full set.

48 Hour Policy

If there are any issues with your lashes, such as extreme fall out (more than 5 lashes per day) or something you would like to be fixed, we offer free touch ups and will do our best to accommodate you per our business hours.

Allergic Reactions Disclaimer

If you experience an allergic reaction to any of the products used during a service, please notify us immediately for assistance in assessing the situation.  Some people can have sensitivities or later develop allergies to ingredients in the glue.

If you have experienced allergic reactions to eyelash extensions in the past, please let us know prior to your appointment.


We are not and will not be held responsible for any allergies or reactions to lash services.
